Anne-Marie Ledson Independent Celebrant
My name is Anne-Marie, I am a fully qualified, professionally trained independent celebrant. I believe that every ceremony celebrating or commemorating a significant life event should be unique and reflect the uniqueness of those involved.
I decided to become an Independent Celebrant because I wanted to help people to create truly personalised ceremonies.I will meet with you to find out exactly what you would like to include in your ceremony. I will listen to your wishes, discuss your options and then create your unique ceremony.
I gained the skills to provide this service for people at significant moments in their lives through my work, my qualifications and my hobbies. I have had a varied career and my previous work included working for an advocacy charity supporting vulnerable people in Leeds; working for the NHS at a GP surgery in North Yorkshire; further education teaching in Cheshire and Yorkshire; teaching English as a foreign language and as a police officer in Merseyside. I studied in Liverpool and Leeds, I was a leader in the Guide Association for 20 years, I am a member of Woodlands Drama Group in Harrogate and The Ebor Players in York.
